SUPPORTING AMERICAN MOTORSPORTS FOR 75 YEARS
The SCCA Foundation supports hands-on education and safety programs, recognizes excellence in automotive engineering education and promotes the SCCA’s heritage and club history.

  • We build on the core experiences, heritage, and values of our past.

  • We connect to the needs of the racing community today.

  • Our eyes are ever up to ensure a vibrant motorsports future.

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO TODAY?

The goal of the SCCA Foundation is
to give back to our communities.

Formula SAE

SAE International’s Collegiate Design Series competitions take students beyond textbook theory by enabling them to design, build, and test the performance of a real vehicle.

Women on Track

Through regional efforts, mentorship, national contingency and scholarships, this program aims to remove barriers to entry for women in motorsport and to encourage increased participation.

Teen Drivers

The TireRack Street Survival school is a safe teen driving program designed to go beyond today’s required driver education and give teens the driving tools and hands-on experience they need to become safer, smarter drivers.

Vet Motorsports

More than 2.8 million Americans have served in our armed forces since 9/11. Programs that promote interaction, engagement and teamwork help the battle against depression and PTSD.

ARCHIVES & LEGACY STORIES

Preserving the SCCA’s History

SCCA ARCHIVES
The SCCA Archives contain the history of American motorsports as represented in the official records of the SCCA since its founding in 1944. The SCCA Archives are located at the International Motor Racing Research Center in Watkins Glen, NY.

SCCA members and family are encouraged to donate and preserve SCCA racing memorabilia for future generations through the IMRRC.

SCCA LEGACY STORIES
While the SCCA Hall of Fame memorializes the accomplishments of outstanding individuals, beginning in 2023, the SCCA Legacy Stories initiative will expand this tradition by capturing meaningful histories and stories from a broader representation of our Club.
