Donate Today: Support the SCCA Foundation

By Philip Royle | SCCA Senior Content Manager

Like your local public broadcasting channel, the SCCA Foundation survives on members like you.

The mission of SCCA Foundation is to support the Sports Car Club of America by providing inclusive opportunities for motorsports competition, safety, education, and historical preservation. Donations to SCCA Foundation – a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization – are tax deductible as allowed by law. And you don’t have to be a member of the Club to make a donation.

The SCCA Foundation doesn’t just sit around collecting money – the Foundation helps many worthy causes. The SCCA Archives aids American motorsports preservation, while teen driving safety is supported through the Tire Rack Street Survival Program, and then there’s furthering motorsports education through support of programs like Formula SAE. Each of these projects either solidify the SCCA’s past or help to grow its future. But that’s not all that the SCCA Foundation supports.

Closer to home, the SCCA Foundation helps members do what members do: have fun with cars.

The SCCA Foundation is active in programs that introduce veterans to motorsports through VETMotorsports, and helps diversify the sport through the support of SCCA Women on Track, which itself offers a variety of Foundation-backed scholarships and programs.

The Howard Duncan Greenlight Fund introduces new drivers to the Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Series, while the Wendi Allen Scholarship Fund, which SCCA Foundation offers the majority of funding for, directly places female drivers at National autocross events.

And there’s more.

But here’s the real story: None of this could happen without the generous donations of those who are in a position to support the SCCA Foundation. So, whether it’s $5, $50, $500, $5,000, or including the SCCA Foundation in your estate planning, all donations go to worthy causes.

If you’ve ever wondered how to give back to a sport that you love and a Club that you cherish, this is your chance.
